Printmaking and Book Arts
Union Printmakers Atelier offers classes for beginning to advanced students in Printmaking
(Lithography, Etching, Relief and Monotype ), Letterpress and Book Arts.
Classes/sessions are arranged according to each student’s individual schedule. The studio will be open:
Mondays/Wednesday….. 1:00 pm – 8:15 pm
Tuesday………………..... 9:00 am – 12 noon
Thursday……………….... 9:00 am – 12 noon, 4:15 pm – 8:15 pm
Friday…………………..... 10:00 am – 8:15 pm
Saturday……………….... 12 noon – 6 pm

New Letterpress Classes at Union Printmakers Atelier to start March 13th.
Meeting each Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM
10 (ten) sessions for $400.

Price for classes is $350.00 plus $50.00 lab fee for 10 open class times.
Beginning to advanced students may attend class during any of the times listed above in order to study the media of their choice for as long as they wish during listed daily hours. Students may attend once a week or any 10 open class times they choose.

Price for Tutorials ranges from $150.00 to 60.00 per hour according to needs and time.
Tutorials are for artists who are unfamiliar with the medium they have chosen to work with in the studio. Tutorials include costs of materials, plate preparation and proofing. Please call for clarification.
Price for Open Studio is $400.00 for 10 sessions.
Open Studio is for Printmakers and Book Artists who know what they are doing and can work in the studio safely on their own. Open studio artists must be willing to follow PROPER STUDIO PROCEDURES pertaining to use of the presses and clean up. Acid ( nitric for Zinc ), solvents, newsprint, and black ink, will be provided for proofing. Artists must provide their own ink and paper for editioning. Drawers and lockers are also provided along with free parking.
